<![CDATA[The research is about Teaching English with cooperative learning of Picture and Picture model which the goal is to increase the writing ability of grammar Past Tense and Present Perfect. The subject of this research are 33 students of class X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Bantul. The research was done from December 2018 to March 2019. The procedure of this research was done with two cycles. The steps of this research are planning, action and reflection. The data was gotten from observation, questionnaire, interview and writing practice of Past Tense and Present Perfect. The result of this research show that students writing increase from 73% to 97%. Based on questionnaire of students' response of the cooperative learning model of type Picture and Picture, the result increase from 92% to 93%. They do agree and strongly agree with this model because they can understand and remember the lesson easily, interact and discuss with their friend in group, the learning process becomes fun, interesting and not boring. Cooperative learning of Picture and Picture model can improve the writing ability of grammar, particularly for Past Tense and Present Perfect. This model is beneficial for students so that students will be interested to study grammar. This kind of teaching is very suitable to be used for teacher to teach grammar Past Tense and Present Perfect.]]>
