The best practice in learning English is writing "Conditional Sentences" with a pictorial concept map aimed in applying students' ability to write "Conditional Sentences". This method uses descriptive qualitative. The data obtained is based on observation, implementation of learning and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Bantul. Based on the best practices in the learning are the explanation of the material "Conditional Sentence", group activities in analyzing sentences, writing sentences individually by making a picture of mind mapping according to the theme of the picture which is created by the students. Based on the results of the questionnaire and the practice of writing with picture of mind mapping, students are able to understand the material well, enjoy learning and creative in writing with picture of mind mapping.
