<![CDATA[AbstrakSalah satu tahapan dalam pembuatan kerajinan chenille strips adalah memotong lapisan kain menggunakan cutter khusus. Cutter khusus kerajinan chenille strips tidak diproduksi di Indonesia. Harga cutter khusus chenille strips terlalu mahal jika dibandingkan dengan alat potong universal seperti pisau cutter dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memodifikasi cutter universal sehingga bisa digunakan untuk memotong lapisan kain pada kerajinan chenille strips. Produk hasil modifikasi ini memiliki tingkat efisiensi tingkat kinerja dan perbandingan harganya. Dengan alat ini, perajin kerajinan chenille strips dapat memiliki alat potong khusus dengan harga yang murah. This special tool isn’t produced in Indonesia, furthermore, the price is still high when compared with universal cutting tools such as scissors, knives, utility knives etc. This research is underway to modify the utility cutter so that can be used to cut the layer as in the process of making chenille strips. These modified tool has a high level of performance and producing cost efficiency. With these tools, chenille strips crafter can have a special cutting tool at a cheap price.
