During the period of 2022–2024, there were 73 accidents on the Bayongbong–Garut Highway and the Simpang–Samarang Highway, which serve as connecting roads between subdistricts in Garut Regency. This study used the Z-Score, Cusum, and Geographic Information System (GIS) methods with QGIS to identify and map accident-prone segments. The results show that accident-prone segments on the Bayongbong–Garut Highway are located in segments 2, 5, 6, 7, 10, and 12, while on the Simpang–Samarang Highway they are located in segments 3 and 5. The main contributing factors include the condition of road markings, signs, geometry, and road surface. The digital mapping displays red symbols for accident-prone segments and green symbols for non-accident-prone segments. The Cusum method proved to be more accurate in monitoring annual accident trends. This study produced a digital map of black spot locations that can be used as a basis for evaluating traffic safety policies in Garut Regency.
