Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Medan, through its Dialogue Pro Aspirasi Sumut program, acts as a public media platform that bridges communication between the government and the public. This research is motivated by the importance of the broadcaster's role in building interactions with sources and audiences through verbal and nonverbal communication strategies. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation of broadcasters, producers, and program audiences. The results show that broadcasters apply a transactional communication model, characterized by dynamic two-way interactions. Verbal aspects are reflected in flexible formal language, clear intonation, and light humor, while nonverbal aspects are seen in cheerful facial expressions, neat appearance, and professional attitude. The selection of topics is adjusted to current issues, resource persons are presented according to their competence, and the use of digital media through YouTube Studio Podcast expands the audience reach. The broadcaster's communication model in this program is able to combine verbal and nonverbal elements effectively, thus creating interactive, professional, and relevant communication to the needs of the community.
