<![CDATA[Data integrity and transparency are currently critical. Various challenges in digital forensics arise due to the prevalence of evidence manipulation and digital engineering that can compromise the validity of legal investigations. This study seeks to undertake a systematic review of the possible application of blockchain technology as a solution rate in ensuring the authenticity and verification of digital data. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. Therefore, this study selected and analyzed 156 relevant articles. In Scopus databases and published between 2018 and 2025. The results of the analysis show a significant increase in publications since 2020, with the identification of five main research clusters including integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity. Key findings confirm that blockchain it effectively acts as a layer of trust in creating an immutable and transparent chain of custody.
