The examined learning model concluded that goal orientation, self-efficacy, climate class perception, and learning strategy have significant influence to student learning achievement (Pandia, 2006). Directly, learning achievement measured by GPA and Human Capital Skill is influenced by student learning strategy; and indirectly learning achievement is influenced by other factors. There is significant distinction between learning achievement and some influencing factors based on learning approach (surface and deep approach), learning program (exact science or social science), university (state or private), total amount of semester, and gender. Model belajar yang diteliti menyimpulkan bahwa orientasi tujuan, keyakinan diri, persepsi iklim kelas, dan strategi belajar memiliki pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap prestasi belajar maha- siswa (Pandia, 2006). Secara langsung prestasi belajar yang diukur dengan indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) dan Human Capital Skill dipengaruhi oleh strategi belajar mahasiswa, dan secara tak langsung oleh faktor lain. Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara prestasi belajar dan beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh berdasar pendekatan belajar (pendekatan di permukaan dan mendalam), program belajar (ilmu eksakta atau ilmu sosial), universitas (negeri atau swasta), jumlah total semester, dan gender.
