Changing food patterns that are more varied and reducing rice consumption was an effort to increase food consumption diversification to obtain superior human resources. The purpose of this study was to identify the household food consumption diversity in Lampung Province and to analyze its determinants. This research uses secondary data from the results of the 2019 National Social Economic Survey (NSES). The number of samples used in this research is 9,046 households. The method used to analyze household diversification is the Berry Index (BI), while multiple regression is used to determine the determinants of food consumption diversification. The results showed that the majority of households were classified as moderately diversified with an average BI of 0.826. The results of this study show that household income, number of household members, age of head of household, education of head of household and mother, type of area, gender of the household’s head and level of welfare affected diversification of household food consumption.
