IMPLEMENTATION OF COLLABORATIVE LEARNING METHODS IN IMPROVING LEARNING OUTCOMES

Abstract

This learning research using the Collaborative Learning method aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in the subject of Social Studies class VII A of SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu. The type of research used is the type of classroom action research (CAR). The subject of this study is the application of the Collaborative Learning method to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Social Studies, while the objects in this study are teachers and students of class VII. Data collection techniques are tests, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques are test analysis and analysis of observation results. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Collaborative Learning method is suitable for improving the learning outcomes of class VII students. Improvement in learning outcomes using the Collaborative Learning method with an average pre-cycle value of 66.39, an average cycle I value of 75.9 increasing in cycle II of 82.57. The percentage of completion value of class VII A students using the Collaborative Learning method is pre-cycle 30.3%, cycle I 60.6% increasing 90.9% in cycle II. Keywords: Collaborative Learning, Learning Results
