PROGRAM PELATIHAN BENCANA: INOVASI DISASTER KIT TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI DAN PERILAKU KESIAPSIAGAAN PADA REMAJA

Abstract

Abstrak: Banjir merupakan salah satu fenomena bencana alam yang sering kali terjadi. Banjir terjadi karena resapan air tidak mampu menampung debit air yang meluap sehingga menggenangi wilayah sekitar. Tujuan kegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman remaja dan peningkatan perilaku kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir melalui kegiatan pelatihan Inovasi Disaster Kit. Metode pada kegiatan ini dengan cara memberikan pelatihan literasi bencana kepada remaja. Pada kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 50 orang. Sebelum kegiatan program pelatihan bencana, dilakukan penilaian tentang pemahaman literasi bencana dan keterampilan kesiapsiagaan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pre test-post test pemahaman literasi bencana remaja rata-rata 56 dan 66, sedangkan pada keterampilan kesiapsiagaan pre tes-post test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari 54-63. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan Inovasi Disaster Kit dapat meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan remaja dalam menggunakan alat kesiapsiagaan pada bencana banjir. Remaja diharapkan dapat berperan aktif dalam mensosialisasikan kebencanaan sehingga seluruh masyarakat dapat menjadi lebih siap dan siaga saat menghadapi bencana banjir.Abstract: Flooding is a frequent natural disaster phenomenon that often occurs. Floods happen when water absorption capacity is unable to accommodate the overflowing water, causing it to inundate surrounding areas. The purpose of this activity is to enhance the understanding of adolescents and improve their disaster preparedness behavior, specifically regarding flood disasters, through the Disaster Kit Innovation training program. This activity employed a disaster literacy training method for adolescents, with 50 participants. Prior to the disaster training program, a questionnaire was administered to assess baseline levels of disaster literacy and preparedness skills. The results of this activity showed an increase in disaster literacy scores from an average of 56 in the pre-test to 66 in the post-test. In terms of preparedness skills, pre-test scores of 54 increased to 63 in the post-test. These results indicate that the Disaster Kit Innovation training program can improve adolescents' literacy and skills in using preparedness tools for flood disasters. It is hoped that adolescents will play an active role in promoting disaster awareness, enabling the community to become more prepared and alert when facing flood disasters.
