<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the community's perception of the existence of the Tambakboyo landfill and its impact on the surrounding environment. This study uses a qualitative research method. The subjects of this study are the landfill managers and the community living around the Tambakboyo landfill. This study uses direct observation and interview methods as well as Miles and Huberman Punch's interactive analysis data analysis technique. The results of the study show that the perspectives of the community trigger different views among individuals and only focus on personal interests. The majority of the community living around the TPS feel discomfort due to unpleasant odors and potential long-term health risks. Therefore, they demand improvements from the TPS management and local government. Conversely, a small portion of the community sees the TPS as a source of benefit for them because it facilitates waste disposal and management.]]>
