<![CDATA[This study highlights the phenomenon of horizontal conflict that occurred in August 2025. During the demonstrations, racial issues emerged that had the potential to disrupt the social and national integration of our country. The purpose of this research is to provide a new interpretation of social harmony through the semantic meaning of the Silaturahim Tunnel, which connects the Istiqlal Mosque and the Cathedral Church. It is hoped that the existence of this site will serve as a reminder that Indonesia is a nation that practices interreligious tolerance. The research employs a qualitative method, with data collected through observation and interviews. Based on the findings from the observations and interviews, it can be concluded that the existence of the site has a positive, albeit not highly significant, impact. This is due to the fact that the site remains relatively closed and public outreach has not been carried out on a large scale. As a result, only those who worship in the area fully understand the symbolic meaning of the Silaturahim Tunnel site. Keyword, horizontal conflict, racial issue and symbolic meaning]]>
