This study aims to explore the influence of visual learning media, particularly images, on the learning interests of elementary school students in Indonesia. In an educational context increasingly dependent on technology, visual media is expected to increase student engagement and understanding of subject matter, particularly in science learning. Through a literature review involving analysis of literature sources from 2022 to 2025, it was found that the use of visual media significantly increases student learning interest, with studies showing up to a 35% increase in student participation. Furthermore, students reported ease of understanding the material when using images and diagrams. The results of this study highlight the importance of training for teachers in the effective application of visual media. Thus, it is hoped that the application of visual learning media can result in a more innovative and participatory learning environment.
