This study aims to assess the influence of the use of smartboard media on student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons for grade III of UPT SDN 173 Gresik. The approach used is quantitative, because all data collected are numbers, the measurement results are carried out using statistical methods. The instruments used to collect data include observations, learning outcome tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Before conducting the analysis, the data were first tested through a normality test to ensure its distribution. The test results showed that the pretest data in the experimental class had a sig value (2-tailed) = 0.027 < 0.05, so the data was not normally distributed. The posttest data in the experimental class was also not normal with a sig value (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, in the control class, the pretest data had a sig (2-tailed) = 0.004 < 0.05 so it was not normal, while the posttest data had a sig (2-tailed) = 0.117 > 0.05, which means it was normally distributed. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 was obtained which was smaller than 0.05. Thus, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This finding indicates that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores in the experimental class. Furthermore, the Mann-Whitney U test showed a difference in posttest scores between the experimental and control classes, with a significance value of 0.000 which was below 0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was declared accepted.
