<![CDATA[The low use of writing media causes students to be less enthusiastic in participating in learning activities. This study aims to determine the validity of lift the flap book media in alphabet writing activities for children aged 5–6 years. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Rowntree development model, which includes the stages of Planning, Development, and Evaluation. The research subjects at the evaluation stage consisted of a material expert and a media expert. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, while the data analysis technique was conducted descriptively and quantitatively using a Likert Scale. The results showed that the lift the flap book media was categorized as very valid, as reviewed from aspects of content validity, construct validity, readability validity, visual design, book packaging, font usage, and the aesthetic and neatness of illustrations. Therefore, the lift the flap book media is feasible to be used as a learning medium for alphabet writing for children aged 5–6 years.]]>
