The objective of this research was to analyze students’ learning outcomes on the proclamation of independence material taught using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model and poster media at SD Islam Sabila Amanda Medan. It also aimed to examine the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the proclamation of independence material using poster media. This research employed a quantitative experimental method with the Jigsaw learning model. The results of this study indicate that the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model on the Proclamation of Independence Material Using Poster Media has an effect on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Islam Sabila Amanda Medan. This conclusion is supported by hypothesis testing results. The average learning outcome score of the experimental class was 76.33, while the control class scored 59.33. This finding confirms that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model using poster media significantly influences the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Islam Sabila Amanda Medan.
