Students are gradually losing their Islamic identity, as reflected in the decreasing respect towardteachers, weakening social responsibility, and the rise of individualistic attitudes. In such circumstances, Islamic education plays a vital role in reviving the noble values derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah. The purpose of this article is to examine various approaches that can be applied to strengthen Islamic character within both formal and non-formal educational settings. The study employs a library research method, by reviewing and analyzing relevantliterature. The findings indicate that two of the most effective methods in shaping Islamic character among studentsare role modeling (uswah hasanah) and the habituation of good behavior. Furthermore, character formation is reinforced through the integration of Islamic principles across all subjects and social activities, as well as the establishment of a religious and supportive school environment. This study concludes that the reinforcement of Islamic character requires continuous collaboration among schools, families, and communities. With Islamic values as thefoundation, consistent and well-coordinated efforts will lead to the development of a Muslim generation that is morally upright, highly principled, and well-prepared to face the challenges of the modern era.
