PELATIHAN PENGGUNAAN MAIL MERGE MICROSOFT WORD UNTUK KEGIATAN ADMINISTRASI YANG EFEKTIF BAGI GURU DAN STAF TPQ BINA UMMAH

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk administrasi lembaga pendidikan. Namun, observasi di TPQ Bina Ummah menunjukkan bahwa sebagian staf belum menguasai penggunaan fitur TIK secara optimal, khususnya Mail Merge pada Microsoft Word, sehingga proses administrasi masih dilakukan secara manual, memakan waktu lebih lama, dan rawan kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan Mail Merge kepada staf dan guru TPQ Bina Ummah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi administrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan tahapan ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, dan praktik langsung menggunakan modul latihan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, catatan partisipasi, dan dokumentasi hasil latihan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk menilai pemahaman dan kemampuan peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dari rata-rata skor pretest 57,0 menjadi 85,6 pada posttest, dengan peningkatan kemampuan teknis, kreativitas, kemandirian, serta pemahaman menyeluruh dalam pengelolaan dokumen administrasi. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, akurasi dokumen, dan kesiapan staf serta guru menghadapi transformasi digital. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi Mail Merge dan pelatihan berbasis praktik memberikan dampak positif bagi kualitas administrasi TPQ Bina Ummah dan dapat menjadi model yang direplikasi di lembaga pendidikan nonformal lain dengan keterbatasan sumber daya teknologi. ABSTRACT The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has significantly transformed various aspects of life, including educational administration. However, observations at TPQ Bina Ummah indicate that some staff have not fully mastered ICT features, particularly the Mail Merge function in Microsoft Word, causing administrative processes to be manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors. This study aimed to provide Mail Merge training to the staff and teachers of TPQ Bina Ummah to improve administrative efficiency and accuracy. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, involving lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on practice with training modules. Data were collected through direct observation, participant notes, and documentation of practice results, then analyzed descriptively to assess participants’ understanding and skills. The training results showed an improvement in participants’ skills, with the average pretest score increasing from 57.0 to 85.6 in the posttest, enhancing technical abilities, creativity, independence, and overall document management competence. The training proved effective in improving work efficiency, document accuracy, and staff readiness for digital transformation. Overall, the integration of Mail Merge and practice-based training positively impacted the quality of administration at TPQ Bina Ummah and can serve as a replicable model for other nonformal educational institutions with limited technological resources.
