KELAYAKAN USAHATANI TANAMAN MELON DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA TANAM SEMI HIDROPONIK PADA LAHAN KRITIS

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the income of melon farming using semi-hydroponic planting media on critical land in BPP Talang Betutu and to determine the feasibility of melon farming using semi-hydroponic planting media on critical land in BPP Talang Betutu, Palembang city. The research method used is a case study method with a quantitative and qualitative approach. The sampling method used in this study is Non-probability Sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Where the respondent in this study was 1 respondent, namely the TU Staff of the Extension Unit who conducted a melon cultivation experiment using semi-hydroponic planting media at the UPTD BPP Talang Betutu. The data collection method used is the observation method, direct in-depth interviews with sources as information and recording. Data collection is how you collect the information needed to solve research problems. The results of the study show that in melon farming using semi-hydroponic planting media on critical land in BPP Talang Betutu with a land area of 300 and 1 hectare, the production costs incurred are Rp. 2,595,000 per lg / Mt or Rp. 86,500,000 per ha / MT, the farm income received is Rp. 10,500,000 per lg / Mt or Rp. 350,000,000 per ha / MT, the farm income received is Rp. 7,905,000 per lg / Mt or Rp. 263,500,000 per ha / MT, the R / C value is 4.046 if R / C > 1 then the farm is said to be feasible. The real production of rice farming is 300 kg/lg/MT or 10,000 kg/ha/MT, the BEP of the resulting production is 3,859 kg or 128.62 kg < The real production of rice farming is 300 kg/lg/MT or 10,000 kg/ha/MT, meaning that the farming is feasible. The BEP price obtained is Rp.8,650 per kg < The real price is Rp.35,000 per kg, meaning that the farming business is feasible. The real income of the farming business is Rp.10,500,000 per lg/MT or Rp.350,000,000 per ha/MT. BEP Income is Rp.135,052.45 per lg/MT or Rp.4,501,748.25 per ha/MT. If the income is > than Rp.35,052.45 per lg/MT or Rp.4,501,748.25 per ha/MT, the farming business is feasible. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui berapa pendapatan usahatani melon dengan menggunakan media tanam semi hidroponik pada lahan kritis di BPP Talang Betutu dan Mengetahui kelayakan usahatani tanaman melon dengan menggunakan media tanam semi hidroponik pada lahan kritis di BPP Talang Betutu kota Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode studi kasus (case study) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Non-probability Sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Dimana responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 responden, yaitu Staff TU UPT Penyuluhan yang melakukan percobaan budidaya melon dengan menggunakan media tanam semi hidroponik di UPTD BPP Talang Betutu. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara mendalam langsung dengan narasumber sebagai informasi dan pencatatan. Pengumpulan data adalah cara Anda mengumpulkan informasi yang dibutuhkan untuk memecahkan masalah penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam usahatani melon menggunakan media tanam semi hidroponik di lahan kritis di BPP Talang Betutu dengan luas lahan 300????2dan 1 Hektar, biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp.2.595.000 per lg/Mt atau Rp.86.500.000 per ha/MT, penerimaan usahatani yang diterima sebesar Rp.10.500.000 per lg/Mt atau Rp.350.000.000 per ha/MT, pendapatan usahatani yang di terima sebesar Rp.7.905.000 per lg/Mt atau Rp.263.500.000 per ha/MT, nilai R/C sebesar 4,046 jika R/C > 1 maka usahatani tersebut dikatakan layak. Produksi riil usahatani seberas 300 kg/lg/MT atau 10.000 kg/ha/MT, BEP produksi yang dihasilkan sebesar 3,859 Kg atau 128,62 kg < Produksi riil usahatani seberas 300 kg/lg/MT atau 10.000 kg/ha/MT artinya usahatani tersebut layak. BEP harga yang didapat sebesar Rp.8.650 per kg < Harga riil sebesar Rp.35.000 per kg artinya usahatani tersebut layak, Penerimaan riil usahatani sebesar Rp.10.500.000 per lg/MT atau Rp.350.000.000 per ha/MT, BEP Penerimaan Rp.135.052,45 per lg/MT atau Rp.4.501.748,25 per ha/MT, Jika penerimaan > dari Rp.35.052,45 per lg/MT atau Rp.4.501.748,25 per ha/MT maka usahatani tersebut layak.
