Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dari Mei hingga Desember 2024 dan bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pengrajin kapal tradisional dan usaha kecil mebel di Kecamatan Brondong, Kabupaten Lamongan. Limbah kayu dari pembuatan dan perbaikan kapal dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku untuk meja resin bernilai seni tinggi. Program ini mencakup pelatihan pembuatan meja resin, penggunaan teknologi resin komposit, serta pemasaran digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas produksi dengan pengrajin mampu memproduksi hingga 10 unit meja per bulan, transfer teknologi tepat guna, dan peningkatan keterampilan mitra dalam pengelolaan limbah kayu. Selain itu, mitra mendapatkan dukungan berupa sarana produksi, pelatihan pemasaran, dan panduan perizinan usaha, yang berdampak pada diversifikasi produk serta peningkatan pendapatan. Namun, tantangan tetap ada pada aspek pemasaran, terutama karena biaya produksi yang tinggi dan dominasi perusahaan mebel besar di pasar, yang membatasi daya saing produk. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan, kualitas produk, dan pendapatan pengrajin, namun keberlanjutan jangka panjang memerlukan strategi pemasaran inovatif serta akses pasar yang lebih luas. This community service activity was carried out from January to December 2024 and aimed to empower traditional boat craftsmen and small-scale furniture businesses in Brondong Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. Wood waste from boat construction and repair was utilized as raw material for high-artistic-value resin tables. The program included training in resin table production, the application of composite resin technology, and digital marketing. The results demonstrated significant improvements, including an increase in production capacity with craftsmen able to produce up to 10 resin tables per month, the transfer of appropriate technology, and enhanced partner skills in managing wood waste. Additionally, partners received support in the form of production facilities, marketing training, and business licensing guidance, leading to product diversification and increased income. However, challenges remain in marketing, particularly due to high production costs and the dominance of large furniture companies in the market, which limits the competitiveness of the products. This program successfully enhanced the skills, product quality, and income of the craftsmen. However, long-term sustainability requires innovative marketing strategies and broader market access to improve the competitiveness of the products amidst intense industry competition.
