This study aims to describe the intrinsic elements in the novel Secret Radio by Dinar Khair from a mimesis perspective. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a mimesis approach. The research data consist of narrative excerpts and dialogues obtained through reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed using content analysis. The results show that the intrinsic elements of the novel include theme, characters and characterization, plot, setting, point of view, language style, and moral values. The main theme of the novel is Sofia’s journey in discovering her identity through the world of radio broadcasting. The characters and plot are presented realistically, the setting is dominated by nighttime situations, and the places include the radio studio and urban environments. These elements reflect social and psychological realities, thereby strengthening the mimesis aspect of the novel.
