The Miraculous Impact (al-I'jaz al-Ta'thiri) represents a profound facet of the Qur’an's miracle, manifesting as an irresistible impact on every listener or reader, transcending background or belief. This phenomenon encompasses both apparent and subtle effects on the human heart—simultaneously instilling tranquillity and awe, beauty and majesty. The unique convergence of such contrasting emotions within a single text confirms the Qur’an's divine origin and affirms Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) message. This study examines the nature of this miraculous impact (its essence, mechanism, and purpose), its psychological and social impact, and its vital role in serving the Arabic language. Employing a descriptive-analytical methodology, it examines Qur’anic verses to analyse the relationship between their linguistic elegance and psychological influence, tracing how the Quran employs Arabic's expressive capacities in innovative contexts. The research hypothesis is that the Prophet utilised this inimitability as a fundamental da'wah tool; its impact transcends human states; scholars historically recognised it as proof of divine origin; and the Quran captivates through irrefutable evidence that overwhelms mere debate. Findings confirm that the Qur’an's miraculous impact was crucial to Arabic, ensuring its preservation and enriching its grammatical, morphological, and rhetorical sciences. The Qur’an's supreme eloquence and artistic imagery elevated Arabic from a regional language to a global civilizational medium capable of bearing its multidimensional discourse. This demonstrates an organic connection between the Qur’an and Arabic, where miraculous impact served not only theological purposes but also secured the language's enduring vitality as a vessel for the Islamic message to humanity.
