The development of Arabic literature has seen significant progress, particularly in modern prose, where Taha Husein's works play a pivotal role. This study, titled The Role of Taha Husein's Prose in the Social and Political Reality of Egyptian Society in Mustaqbal al-Thaqafah fi Misr, explores this evolution in depth. Modern Arabic prose is deeply tied to the social, cultural, and educational shifts in the Middle East, especially Egypt. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and historical analysis, this research examines Taha Husein's key works, including al-Ayyam and al-Mu’azzabun fi al-Ard. The findings highlight his influence in modernizing Arabic narrative prose through themes of humanism and rationalism, reflecting the struggles of his era and the impact of Western thought. This study offers fresh insights into the interplay of tradition and modernity in Arabic literature, enriching the understanding of Taha Husein’s legacy.
