<![CDATA[Objects of this research are to know the regulations of hire purchase according to the Law of Indonesia and its implementation, along with legal implication of redirection of object agreement which conducted by debitor, and to know the problem solution if there is a default related to redirection of object by debitor. Type of this research is a normative legal research, that is done by examination of rules contained in legislation (in abstracto) and seek legal facts that occurred in the field (in concreto). Approach of this study are legislation approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. Techniques and collection data of this research is primary data. The agreement of hire purchase is not regulated specifically in Indonesia Code Civil, but based on freedom of agreement. The implementation of hire purchase agreement conducted by PT Bahana Lestari Morindo Mataram made by non formal agreement. Legal consequence of redirection of object agreement to the third party is a default , give the rights to the seller of hire to sue compensation, cancel the agreement and to required a criminal charge. Legal problem caused by redirection of object hire purchase agreement shall be settle through non judicial settlement (nonlitigation) and judicial settlement in way of a civil claim and a criminal charge.Keywords: Redirection of Objects, hire purchase, legal implication]]>
