<![CDATA[Masalah kesehatan reproduksi di Indonesia perlu mendapat perhatian yang cukup karena masalah kesehatan reproduksi juga masalah kesehatan yang akan berdampak pada kesehatan lainnya. Masalah kesehatan reproduksi salah satunya termasuk pada kaum remaja. Masa remaja merupakan suatu fase perkembangan yang dinamis dalam kehidupan seorang individu. Remaja termasuk dalam kelompok penduduk yang perlu mendapat perhatian terhadap kesehatan reproduksi. Remaja perlu mengenal tubuh dan organ reproduksi, perubahan fisik dan psikologis, agar dapat melindungi diri dari resiko yang mengancam kesehatan dan keselamatan fungsi organ reproduksinya (Aryani, 2017). Remaja dikenal sebagai individu yang memiliki tahap perkembangan fisik (muncul tanda-tanda seksual) dan perubahan psikologi. Pada remaja putri, salah satu perkembangan fisik yang akan terjadi adalah proses menstruasi sebagai tanda telah berfungsinya ovarium. Menstruasi terjadi karena sel telur yang tidak dibuahi oleh sperma sehingga menyebabkan meluruhnya sel-sel endometrium dalam rahim. Kata kunci : Pengetahun pada remaja putri tentang premenstrual syndromeReproductive health problems in Indonesia need sufficient attention because reproductive health problems are also health problems that will have an impact on other health.
