Nutmeg, a strategic export commodity for Indonesia, faces challenges in productivity and quality due to farmers' limited knowledge of proper cultivation techniques. This study assessed the effectiveness of technical training in nutmeg cultivation using the Kirkpatrick model. Conducted in four North Maluku locations between September and November 2022, the study involved nutmeg farmers and agricultural extension workers. Level-1 evaluation (participant feedback) was gathered through questionnaires, while Level-2 (learning outcomes) utilized pre- and post-test assessments. Data analysis with SPSS (t-test) revealed overall participant satisfaction and a significant knowledge increase. However, some participants showed decreased knowledge post-training, highlighting a need to identify causes and improve training effectiveness. The Kirkpatrick Model proved valuable for evaluating technical training in nutmeg farming and can guide future agricultural evaluations.
