Utilizing a descriptive method, this study aims to analyze audience reception toward Qur’an Journaling. The result of this study indicate that the @thequranjournal.id utilizes Instagram as an interactive da’wah instrument that encourages active involvement of follower in the tadabbur (reflection) process. Reception of the Quran in this practice manifests in two layers: the surface structure, as a functional-instructional instrument through the provision of classes, communities, and journaling templates and the deep structure, embodied in exegesis (reflective interpretation of verses) and aesthetics (visual expression and creativity in journals). This study demonstrates a paradigm shift in Muslim interaction with the Quran -from a passive-textual pattern (reading and memorization) to an active-productive pattern (reflection, documentation, and visualization) in the digital era. The Qur’an Journaling phenomenon demonstrates the transformation of digital media function into a performative space, positioning journaling as a contemporary spiritual ritual that integrates aesthetics symbols and decorations for personalizing meaning to address modern life’s challenges.
