Learning Indonesian and English in Madrassa Ibtidaiyah often faces various challenges. Many students find Indonesian boring due to monotonous and less interactive teaching methods. Whereas English, students have difficulty memorizing and understanding foreign languages. This study aims to analyze the application of the singing method in language subjects as a deepening of students' memory cognition through material adaptation by changing the subject matter into song lyrics to create a pleasant atmosphere and stimulate students' brains to make it easier for students to remember and memorize the material. This research was conducted at MI Al-Ma'arif Karangrejo, Gumukmas District, Jember Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data sources were collected through observation, interviews and documentation with subject teachers, homeroom teachers and students in grades 1 and 2, other data sources were books and journals, analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that the adaptation of material through the singing method was applied in the form of familiar songs such as "kring kring kring ada sepeda", "pelangi", "miss manis seorang punya", "twinkle twinkle little star", and changing the lyrics into Indonesian and English learning materials. The singing method was proven to be a learning method that was able to create a fun atmosphere, 73 out of 81 students in grades 1 and 2 were enthusiastic and active in class, and stimulated students' brains in remembering and memorizing learning materials so that daily test scores increased by 25% and the percentage of completeness scores also increased by 75%. This study contributed practically to become a reference for learning methods in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
