ABSTRAKLatar belakang: perawat merasakan perasaan takut dan cemas yang berlebihan pada awal dipilih menjadi perawat yang merawat pasien Covid-19. Hal ini disebabkan Covid-19 adalah kasus baru yang dihadapi perawat yang mana pasien Covid-19 membutuhkan perhatian khusus dan suportif serta kemampuan dari perawat dalam melakukan perawatan. Salah satu faktor ketakutan dan kecemasan perawat selama merawat pasien Covid-19 yakni takut tertular virus covid-19 dan takut akan menjadi sarana penularan kepada orang sekitarnya terutama kepada keluarga perawat. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengalaman perawat dalam merawat pasien Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dimana telah dilakukan sebanyak 5 informan. Penelitian ini menggunakan cara wawancara mendalam dimana telah didapatkan kata kunci, katagori dan tema. Kesimpulan: hasil wawancara mendalam didapatkan tema kecemasan perawat, loyalitas perawat,perasaan perawat, upaya mengurangi resiko tertular. Diharapkan perawat agar dapat bersama-sama membuka wawasan mengenai pengalaman perawat dalam merawat pasien Covid-19.Kata Kunci: Pengalaman perawat, perawatan, covid-19NURSE'S EXPERIENCE IN TREATING COVID-19 PATIENTS AT SITI FATIMAH HOSPITAL SOUTH SUMATRAABSTRAKBackground: nurses feel excessive feelings of fear and anxiety at the beginning of being selected to be nurses caring for Covid-19 patients. This is because Covid-19 is a new case faced by nurses where Covid-19 patients need special and supportive attention and the ability of nurses to carry out treatment. One of the factors of fear and anxiety of nurses while caring for Covid-19 patients is the fear of contracting the covid-19 virus and fear that it will become a means of transmission to people around them, especially to the nurse's family. Purpose: To find out the experience of nurses in caring for Covid-19 patients. This research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach where as many as 5 informants have been carried out. This research uses an in-depth interview method where keywords, categories and themes have been obtained. Conclusion: the results of the in-depth interview found themes of nurse anxiety, nurse loyalty, nurse feelings, efforts to reduce the risk of contracting. It is hoped that nurses can jointly open insights about the nurse's experience in caring for Covid-19 patients.Kata Kunci: Pengalaman perawat, perawatan, covid-19
