Abstract

ABSTRAKHipertensi merupakan penyakit paling banyak dijumpai, penyakit ini banyak di derita baik pria maupun wanita dewasa ataupun lansia. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik dan pola konsumsi garam penderita hipertensi di RS.Tingkat II Dr.AK Gani Palembang Tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif dan analitik dengan desain cross sectional ini mengunakan data primer dan sekunder dimana data ini didapat melalui wawancara. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 reponden dengan mengunakan tehnik Sample Random Sampling. Analisis data di lakukan untuk mendapatkan distribusi frekuensi dari variabel dependen dan independen. Hasil menemukan bahwa gambaran karakteristik antara penderita hipertensi dengan pola konsumsi garam keluarga yang tinggi, dari 30 responden yang menderita hipertensi sebanyak 21(70.0%) yang mempunyai pola konsumsi garam yang tinggi, sedangkan 9 (30.0%) pola konsumsi garam rendah. Saran yang dapat diberikan setelah penelitian dilakukan adalah pemberian prnyuluhan oleh petugas RS.TK II Dr AK GANI baik secara individu atau kelompok melalui peran serta aktif masyarakat dan perlu adanya penelitian lebih lanjut terhadap berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi prilaku pola konsumsi garam pada penderita hipertensi.Kata kunci: Garam dan HipertensiABSTRACTHypertension is the most prevalent disease, this disease suffer a lot in both male and female adults or the elderly. The purpose of this study to determine the characteristics andpatterns picture salt intake hypertensives in RS.Tingkat II Dr.AK Gani Palembang Year 2016. This study was descriptive and analytic with cross sectional design using primary and secondary data where the data was obtained through interviews. The research sample of 30 respondents by using Sample Random Sampling technique. The data analysis was done to obtain the frequency distribution of the dependent and independent variables. The results found that the characteristic features of hypertensive patients with a family of salt consumption pattern of high, of 30 responders who suffer from hypertension were 21 (70.0%), which has a high salt consumption patterns, while 9 (30.0%) lower salt consumption patterns. Advice can be given after the research is done is giving health promotion in RS.TK II officer Dr AK GANI either individually or in groups through the active participation of communities and the need for further research into the various factors that influence the behavior of salt consumption patterns in patients with hypertension.Keywords : salt and hypertension
