<![CDATA[By analyzing the implementation of the Makkah-based Arabic Camp, this study seeks to determine the program's effectiveness in enhancing the Arabic proficiency of 11th-grade pupils at Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta. Adopting a descriptive qualitative methodology, this research gathered evidence through field observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentary analysis. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in the four basic language skills. In addition, the immersive-based program was able to increase students’ intrinsic learning motivation and their confidence in communication, enabling them to face various language challenges and cultural differences more effectively. This success was supported by an authentic sociocultural environment, guidance from competent teachers, and comprehensive institutional support. Conversely, the primary constraints identified include exposure to localized dialectal variations, challenging climatic conditions, and the rigorous temporal demands of the program itinerary. In conclusion, the Arabic Camp effectively enhanced not only language skills but also students’ spiritual and global insight.]]>
