Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital learning media on student engagement during the learning process. The study was conducted using a systematic literature review method on 15 SINTA-indexed scientific articles from 2022 to 2026. The articles were synthesized following a selection process based on inclusion and exclusion criteria using the keywords digital learning media, student engagement, elementary education, digital-based learning, and interactive learning. The study identified five components discussed, namely: 1) Characteristics of effective digital learning media to enhance student enthusiasm in the learning process, 2) The role of digital learning media in student engagement, 3) Factors influencing the successful implementation of digital learning media, 4) Strategies for implementing digital learning media, and 5) Implications and recommendations. The recommendations provided include: 1) Continuous teacher training, 2) Equitable access to technology, and 3) Development of media tailored to students’ needs and characteristics.
