This research aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance at the Luahagundre Maniamolo District Head Office. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a causal nature. The population and sample used in this research were all 30 employees. The data collection techniques used were questionnaire techniques and documentation techniques. The analytical method that will be used to test the hypothesis used in this research is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that work motivation influences employee performance variables. Based on the results of this research and the discussion described, it can be concluded that work motivation influences employee performance. The suggestions in this research are, so that employees can complete their work well, superiors should provide motivation to employees so that employees can be encouraged and enthusiastic in completing each task and leaders need to increase the work motivation given to employees, so that employees can complete each job and produce optimal work.
