This research aims to understand the application of the principles of Islamic law as a universal and comprehensive guide to life. The research problem focuses on how Islamic law, through principles such as tawhid, justice, amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar, freedom, equality, and mutual cooperation, can be applied relevantly in various aspects of human life in facing the challenges of the times. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with alibrary research approach. The data used is secondary data obtained through analysis of scientific literature, articles, and other related sources. The data collection technique was carried out with a literature study to identify the application of the principles of Islamic law in the context of modern life. The results show that the principles of Islamic law have a fundamental role in building a harmonious and just life. The principle of tawhid emphasises the vertical relationship between humans and Allah as the basis of all Islamic law. The principle of justice ensures equality and non- discrimination in law enforcement, while the principle of amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar serves as social engineering to encourage good and prevent bad in society. This research also confirms the flexibility of Islamic law in adapting to the times, so that it remains relevant as a universal life guide for mankind.
