The Role of Class II A Bangli Narcotics Correctional Institution in Providing Rehabilitation for Narcotics Prisoners to Realize Social Reintegration This study aims to analyze the role of the Class II A Bangli Narcotics Correctional Institution in implementing rehabilitation programs for narcotics prisoners as an effort to realize social reintegration. Narcotics crimes not only cause legal consequences but also social and psychological impacts for offenders, so rehabilitation becomes an essential instrument in the correctional system. This research uses an empirical legal research method with a sociological approach through observation and interviews at the Bangli Narcotics Correctional Institution. The results show that rehabilitation programs, both medical and social rehabilitation, have been implemented as mandated by laws and regulations, although they still face obstacles such as limited facilities, human resources, and coordination with external institutions. Nevertheless, rehabilitation plays a strategic role in preparing prisoners to return to society and reducing recidivism rates. The success of social reintegration is highly dependent on the continuity of rehabilitation programs and community acceptance.
