Background: Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is an important commodity in Indonesia, playing a strategic role in fulfilling plant-based protein needs and as a raw material for the food industry. However, peanut productivity in Riau remains low. Cow manure as organic fertilizer is expected to improve soil properties, while inorganic NPK Phonska fertilizer provides essential nutrients rapidly. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect and interaction of cow manure and NPK Phonska dosages on the growth and yield of peanut. Methods: The research was conducted at the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Lancang Kuning, Riau, from February to May 2025. A factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors was used: cow manure (K0: 0 kg/plot, K1: 2.25 kg/plot, K2: 3.37 kg/plot) and NPK Phonska (P0: 0 g/plot, P1: 11.25 g/plot, P2: 22.50 g/plot), with three replications. Results: The interaction between cow manure and NPK Phonska had a significant effect on dry seed weight and dry weight of 100 seeds, but no significant effect on the number of pods and dry pod weight. The combination K2P2 (cow manure 3.37 kg/plot + NPK Phonska 22.50 g/plot) produced the best growth and yield, achieving a plant height of 64.56 cm compared to 49.33 cm in the unfertilized control. Conclusions: The application of cow manure at 3.37 kg/plot combined with NPK Phonska at 22.50 g/plot is effective in increasing peanut productivity on Red-Yellow Podzolic (PMK) soil in Riau.
