ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the intrinsic structure of the novel Hujan by Tere Liye and its relevance to literature learning at the secondary school level. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and content analysis technique. The data are collected through reading and note-taking of intrinsic elements such as theme, plot, characterization, setting, point of view, and moral message. The results show that the novel has a coherent structure with dominant themes of love, loss, and resilience. The plot is chronological, and the characters are strongly developed, especially the main character, Lail. Furthermore, the novel contains moral and social values that make it relevant as teaching material to support students’ character building and literary appreciation skills.
