This study aims to identify and analyze the factors causing the decline in learning motivation among students at SMA Pangudi Luhur Sukaraja. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and library research, data were collected through participatory observation and literature review. The results indicate that the decline is driven by internal factors, including low fundamental interest, unclear personal goals, and learning burnout. Externally, monotonous teaching methods, lack of family emotional support, and digital distractions from gadgets significantly contribute to student apathy. Consequently, these factors lead to decreased academic performance and passive classroom participation. To address these issues, educators are encouraged to implement innovative pedagogical strategies and strengthen communication with parents to foster a more supportive learning environment
