Teaching Practicum (Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan/PPL) is one of the programs designed to equip prospective teachers with real experiences in the school environment. Through the implementation of PPL, students are not only involved in the teaching and learning process but also participate in shaping students’ character, particularly discipline and politeness. This article aims to reflect on the implementation of PPL in fostering students’ discipline and politeness at SMA Negeri 17 Merangin. The method used in this article is descriptive reflection based on direct experiences during the PPL program. The results of the reflection indicate that the involvement of PPL students in classroom activities, exemplary attitudes, and direct interactions with students contribute positively to the improvement of students’ discipline and politeness. Therefore, the implementation of PPL functions not only as a means of teaching practice but also as an effective medium for character building in the school environment.
