This research is motivated by the limited use of innovative learning media in the classroom, resulting in low student interest and engagement. This study aims to develop "Kebun Huruf"-based audio-visual media to improve early reading skills among first-grade elementary school students. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection instruments included observations, interviews, validity questionnaires for experts, and practicality response questionnaires. The results indicate that the developed audio-visual media possesses a high level of validity. Evaluations from material and media experts both reached a percentage of 100%, categorized as "Very Feasible," while the linguist's assessment scored 85.71%. In terms of practicality, the teacher's response questionnaire achieved 100%, and the student's response questionnaire reached 95.88%, both falling into the "Very Practical" criteria. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Kebun Huruf-based audio-visual media is highly feasible and effective for use as a learning tool to support early reading skills in first-grade elementary education.
