Abstract

ABSTRAK Usaha kecil dan menengah menghadapi tantangan besar di era industri kreatif, termasuk persaingan harga, perubahan tren pasar, dan ketidakpastian ekonomi global. Kondisi ini menuntut pelaku usaha untuk beradaptasi secara cepat dan inovatif agar mampu bertahan di tengah dinamika pasar yang kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Koperasi Kriya Giri Sejahtera dalam mendorong pengembangan ekonomi kreatif melalui usaha rotan serta mengevaluasi efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan memanfaatkan data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi, serta data sekunder dari berbagai sumber literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Koperasi Kriya Giri Sejahtera menerapkan strategi pemasaran efektif melalui partisipasi dalam pameran dagang domestik maupun internasional, serta memanfaatkan tren permintaan terhadap produk ramah lingkungan. Selain itu, Koperasi Kriya Giri Sejahtera juga melakukan diversifikasi desain dan inovasi produk rotan untuk memperluas segmen pasar, meningkatkan daya saing, serta menjaga eksistensi usaha secara berkelanjutan. ABSTRACT Small and medium enterprise face significant challenges in the creative industry era, including price competition, changing market trends, and global economic uncertainty. These conditions require businesses to adapt quickly and innovatively to survive amidst competitive market dynamics. This study aims to analyze the role of the Kriya Giri Sejahtera Cooperative in encouraging the development of the creative economy through rattan businesses and evaluate its effectiveness in increasing competitiveness and business sustainability. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach utilizing primary data obtained through interviews and observations, as well as secondary data from various literature sources. The results show that the Kriya Giri Sejahtera Cooperative implements effective marketing strategies through participation in domestic and international trade exhibitions and capitalizing on demand trends for environmentally friendly products. In addition, the Kriya Giri Sejahtera Cooperative also diversifies rattan product designs and innovations to expand market segments, increase competitiveness, and maintain sustainable business existence.
