Language has two main functions, namely as a means of communication and as a marker of identity that shapes how individuals view themselves and how others view them. From a psycholinguistic perspective, language is not only understood as a system of signs, but also as a reflection of the mental processes, identity, and social interactions of speakers. In fictional media, character identity is often explicitly constructed through stereotypical language styles, such as yakuwarigo. There is a stereotypical language style of older people called roujingo, which is generally used by characters with a stereotypical older appearance, but there are also cases where younger-looking characters use it, such as Faruzan from a video game called Genshin Impact. This study was conducted using a descriptive-qualitative method with data sources from Faruzan's voicelines or dialogues and selective dialogues from three other characters. The results show that Faruzan's language style matches the characteristics of roujingo and influences the perception of her interlocutors regarding her identity as a senior.
