This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of elementary school students in Indonesian language learning. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of implementing a multiliteracy model in improving students' reading comprehension skills. The method used in this study is a literature review with the Narrative Literature Review (NLR) type, with data sources in the form of scientific journals, books, and relevant articles. The data analysis technique uses descriptive content analysis. The results of this study indicate that the multiliteracy model is proven effective in improving students' reading comprehension skills. Thus, the multiliteracy model can be an appropriate alternative in Indonesian language learning, especially in elementary schools (SD).
