Kinerja Bakeshop dengan Inovasi Produk sebagai Variabel Mediasi

Abstract

Bakeshop merupakan salah satu sektor usaha yang terus berkembang di Indonesia, didorong oleh meningkatnya permintaan konsumen akan produk roti dan kue yang berkualitas. Namun, pelaku usaha sering menghadapi kesulitan karena tingginya persaingan pasar dan perubahan selera konsumen yang cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik kewirausahaan dan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja bakeshop di Jakarta Utara, dengan inovasi produk mediasi. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan 110 responden sebagai dengan pengambilan data purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik kewirausahaan dan orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha. Selanjutnya, inovasi produk mampu memediasi secara parsial karakteristik kewirausaan dan orientasi kewirausahaan. The bakeshop is one of the business sectors that continues to grow in Indonesia, driven by the increasing consumer demand for quality bread and pastry products. However, business operators often face challenges due to high market competition and rapid changes in consumer preferences. This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of bakeshops in North Jakarta, with product innovation as a mediator. This quantitative research uses 110 respondents obtained through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS. The results show that entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial orientation have a positive and significant effect on business performance. Furthermore, product innovation is able to partially mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial orientation.
