Early reading ability is an important aspect of language development that needs to be stimulated from an early age. However, some children aged 4–5 years still experience difficulties in recognizing letters, pronouncing letter sounds, and reading simple words. One effort to improve children’s early reading ability is through the use of engaging learning media, such as digital flashcards. This study aims to determine the effect of using digital flashcard media on the early reading ability of children aged 4–5 years at TK Idhata. This research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a pre-experimental one group pretest–posttest design. The subjects of this study were 15 children aged 4–5 years. Data were collected through early reading ability tests administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and the N-Gain test. The results showed an increase in the average score from 7.93 to 14.00. The Wilcoxon test result indicated a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05), showing a significant effect. The N-Gain score of 0.78 was categorized as high. Therefore, the use of digital flashcards is effective in improving children’s early reading ability. Namun, masih ditemukan anak usia 4–5 tahun yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal huruf, mengucapkan bunyi huruf, serta membaca kata sederhana. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca awal anak adalah melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik, seperti media flashcard digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media flashcard digital terhadap kemampuan membaca awal anak usia 4–5 tahun di TK Idhata.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain pre-eksperimental one group pretest–posttest design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 anak usia 4–5 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan membaca awal yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, dan uji N-Gain.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 7,93 menjadi 14,00. Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,001 (<0,05) yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan. Nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,78 termasuk kategori tinggi.
