Pendampingan santri tahfidz tidak hanya berfokus pada peningkatan hafalan Al-Qur’an, tetapi juga pada penguatan pemahaman dan penghayatan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Mushallah Al-Hidayah Pulai, Jorong V Sungai Jariang, Kecamatan Lubuk Basung, dengan tujuan meningkatkan motivasi belajar, kualitas tadabbur Al-Qur’an, serta karakter santri melalui penerapan prinsip komunikasi qaulan layyinan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Community Based Research (CBR) dengan melibatkan santri dan pendamping sebagai mitra aktif dalam proses pendampingan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan diskusi kelompok terarah, yang dianalisis secara kolaboratif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi dan partisipasi santri dalam kegiatan tahfidz, terbangunnya interaksi yang lebih harmonis antara pendamping dan santri, serta berkembangnya sikap positif seperti kesabaran, empati, dan keterbukaan dalam proses pembelajaran. Meskipun dihadapkan pada keterbatasan jumlah pendamping dan tingginya jumlah santri, penerapan prinsip qaulan layyinan terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang kondusif dan bermakna. Kegiatan ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas pendamping melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan serta replikasi model pendampingan berbasis qaulan layyinan di lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur’an lainnya guna mendukung keberlanjutan dan peningkatan kualitas program tahfidz. Mentoring tahfidz students should not only focus on improving Qur’anic memorization but also on strengthening understanding and reflection of Qur’anic values in daily life. This community service activity was conducted at Mushallah Al-Hidayah Pulai, Jorong V Sungai Jariang, Lubuk Basung District, aiming to enhance students’ learning motivation, the quality of Qur’anic reflection (tadabbur), and character development through the application of the qaulan layyinan communication principle. The method employed was Community Based Research (CBR), involving students and mentors as active partners in the mentoring process. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions, and were analyzed collaboratively. The results indicate an increase in students’ motivation and participation in tahfidz activities, more harmonious interactions between mentors and students, and the development of positive character traits such as patience, empathy, and openness in the learning process. Despite limitations in the number of mentors and the large number of students, the application of the qaulan layyinan principle proved effective in creating a conducive and meaningful learning environment. This activity recommends strengthening mentor capacity through continuous training and replicating the qaulan layyinan-based mentoring model in other Qur’anic educational institutions to support the sustainability and quality improvement of tahfidz programs
