Abstract The high incidence of anemia in adolescent girls is due to decreased hemoglobin levels, or red blood cells, characterized by a lack of oxygen-carrying capacity to meet the body's physiological needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of beetroot juice on hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls with anemia. Based on a preliminary study, researchers measured hemoglobin levels in 10 female students at SMKN 04 Madiun and found that 7 out of 10 had hemoglobin levels <12 g/dl. The study used a pre-experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used total sampling, with 100 respondents. The research instruments used for the research variables were elastic touch GCHb and observation sheets. Based on statistical analysis using beetroot juice, the results showed that beetroot juice administration was effective in increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls with anemia. Bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test yielded a p-value <α. This indicates that the significance value is less than 0.05. This indicates that beetroot juice has an effect on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls with anemia. Keywords: Anemia, Beetroot Juice, Hemoglobin Levels, Adolescent Girls
