The development of information technology has encouraged the emergence of online buying and selling practices that are increasingly used in society. This study aims to analyze the law of online buying and selling from the perspective of muamalah fiqh. The problem studied is the validity of the contract and the implementation of buying and selling transactions via the internet according to Islamic law. Online buying and selling is a transaction between a seller and a buyer that is carried out without a face-to-face meeting, but rather through modern communication media. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type, namely by reviewing various literature in the form of books, scientific journals, and relevant academic documents. The results of the study indicate that online buying and selling is permissible and the contract is valid as long as it meets the requirements, namely the goods being traded are halal, have clear specifications, according to needs, and do not contain elements of fraud. In addition, the buyer has the right to accept or cancel the transaction if the goods do not match the order. In muamalah fiqh, this transaction is included in the concept of ittihad al-majlis, specifically ittihad al-zaman, where the contract occurs at the same time even though they are in different places. Thus, online buying and selling is permitted in Islam as long as it fulfills the pillars and conditions that have been determined
