<![CDATA[This study originates from the phenomenon of the rapid development of digital technology, which has significantly transformed patterns of hadith searching in academic environments, particularly within the Hadith Studies Program. The aim of this research is to examine the extent of the utilization of the Maktabah Syamilah application among Hadith Studies students at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, as well as to identify the factors influencing its effectiveness and the challenges encountered in the process of hadith retrieval. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that Maktabah Syamilah is actively utilized by students in searching for hadith texts, tracing sources, and completing academic assignments. These findings indicate that ease of access, offline usability, and the comprehensiveness of its classical Islamic book collection are the main factors driving its use, although several technical obstacles still exist, such as variations in search keywords and differences in book editions. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that strengthening digital hadith literacy should be continuously developed through ongoing training and integration into the learning process in order to optimize students’ academic competence in the digital era.]]>
