ABSTRAK Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) merupakan suatu kondisi penurunan fungsi pada ginjal yang cukup berat dan terjadi secara perlahan dalam kurun waktu yang lama, Terapi yang tepat bagi penderita GGK salah satunya hemodialisa. Perawatan pasien hemodialisa memerlukan dukungan penuh dari caregiver. Dampak merawat seseorang dengan penyakit GGK, dapat dirasakan oleh caregiver baik secara fisik, mental/emosional, sosial, maupun finansial, sehingga menyababkan caregiver mengalami tingkat stres yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui Gambaran Social Support Pada Caregiver Pasien Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Di RSUD Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno Surakarta. Metode penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berumlah 90 pasien HD. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 90 caregiver pasien HD Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Penelitian dilakukan di Ruang Hemodialisa RSUD Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno Surakarta pada 22 – 30 Maret 2025. Instrument yang digunakan Kuesioner Dukungan Sosial. Hasil Penelitian sebagian besar responden memiliki social support dengan kategori baik sejumlah 52 responden (57,8%). Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengembangkan terapi tentang social support pada caregiver ABSTRACT Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a condition of decreased kidney function that is quite severe and occurs slowly over a long period of time. One of the appropriate therapies for CKD sufferers is hemodialysis. Hemodialysis patient care requires full support from caregivers. The impact of caring for someone with CKD can be felt by caregivers both physically, mentally/emotionally, socially, and financially, causing caregivers to experience high levels of stress. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of social support in caregivers of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients at RSUD Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno Surakarta. The research method was observational with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was 90 HD patients. The sample in this study was 90 caregivers of HD patients. The sampling technique used total sampling. The study was conducted in the Hemodialysis Room of RSUD Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno Surakarta on March 22-30, 2025. The instrument used was the Social Support Questionnaire. The results of the study showed that most respondents had social support in the good category, amounting to 52 respondents (57.8%). Suggestions for further researchers: The results of this study are expected to be a basis fr further researchers to develop therapy on social support for caregivers.
